There are so many benefits to working out at home.

And while you’ll never miss the commute to the studio or the rush to grab your fave reformer machine, sometimes you do miss the vibe of an in-person session.

So here are our tips for getting the most out of your on-demand pilates or yoga class.

SET THE MOOD

Find your favourite spot the your house and roll out your mat. You want to feel comfortable, calm and have room to move. Next add some tunes, music makes moving even more special, so pick a playlist that matches the tone of your class. You might even like to light a candle or some burn some essential oils to really bring you into the zone.

ELIMINATE DISTRACTIONS

No one needs work emails or calls from their mum mid-workout. Pop your phone on Do No Disturb and embrace some time that’s purely for you. Got kids or pets? Pick a time when they’ll be out, sleeping or just distracted themselves!

GEAR UP

What outfit makes you feel your best? It could be your comfiest track pants or a full gym look. It could literally be your PJs. Whatever you choose to wear it should make you feel good, comfortable and confident.
